navigate to the directory in which you installed macrium reflect. then execute the macriumreflectlicensekeygengenerator bat file found in the bin subdirectory. for example, on windows, execute the following command:
if you have an empty repository you can create a key using the create option. if you have a repository in place you can use the clone option to create a new instance of your server in your local server. if your keys are not in place you can use the import option to import a key from a repository you have in place.
the json file will contain a first field with the identifier of the repository. it is created in the local environment by the repository. if the repository identifier is different in your environment you will need to update this field in the json file.
a second field is the macaroon. it contains the macaroon, used to identify the repository instance. if the repository contains user defined options, then the macaroon will identify the user on the repository instance.
if the file already exists you can use the --clone option to clone a repository which is currently opened in your local repository. for cloning a remote repository you will need to specify the remote repository url. for cloning a repository on a s3 bucket you will need to specify the public url of the bucket, like s3://bucket_name/
on the macrium licence key generator dialog, in the macrium licence key generator output file field, specify a path to save the file. on the macrium licence key generator dialog, uncheck the create a backup copy checkbox.
